Dear experts I've translated the sentence below from my native language into English. Somehow it seems to me it doesn't sound OK in English.

"It sometimes happens that persons who have undergone the tuberculin skin testing never come back so the result from the test remains unknown and when being looked for on the addresses given by them no such persons are found."

Sometimes, people who have come in for the TB (tuberculosis) skin test don't come back for the results, so they don't find out whether they have the virus or not (sorry, I don't know if TB is a virus!). When we try to trace them using the address they provided, we frequently find out that they gave a false address.
