"I documented all process of my work before I went on holiday last November"

"I documented all process of my work before I go on holiday last November"

As far as the use of the verb "to go" is concerned, the first one is correct. The meaning, however, is not clear.

As before, the first one is correct (or it would be if you ended the sentence with a full stop).

Let me give another example.

“ I had mango before I went on holiday last year”
“ I had mango before I go on holiday last year”

Which sentence above is correct?

As the sentence is clearly in the past (I had / last year), how do you think "before I go" is possible?
