Good evening! Would you be so kind as to tell me if it is acceptable to say: "It is my honor to have received your letter."?

You can say it, but it is very formal. It would be more natural to say an honour rather than my honour,​ (BrE spelling).

Thank you, Roman55! As a matter of fact, it was supposed to be very formal as it was an official letter addressed to an ambassador. I was told it was unacceptable so that`s why I`m asking.
