Teacher, are these sentences OK?

Mr. Xu has to attend two business meetings next Monday and Friday. It would be best to change the meeting next Monday to Thursday as Mr. Xu comes from Guanghzhou. That way, he would not need to come to Hong Kong twice that week.

It is fine and understandable in the context presented, but to be perfectly clear in the second sentence that "Monday" is the day of the meeting and not the day on which to change the meeting, you might want to say, "....change the meeting scheduled for Monday....." or ".....change the Monday meeting....".
