Some wine is good to keep, it improves with age. "It's a good wine to keep" means that the wine the speaker is referring to is such a wine.

By such a wine, do you mean that the wine improves with age. The longer it stands in barrels in the cellar, the better it tastes.

We don't buy wine by the barrel. If we know a wine is going to improve we buy a few bottles and keep them for a year or more to mature.

Other wines are best drunk 'young'. They are already at their best when we buy them and may actually deteriorate if we keep them.
