Are these two OK?

It's exhausting commuting from Brighton to London every day.
It's exhausting to commute from Brighton to London every day.

Of those two, I'd use the first though the second isn't wrong.
In reality, I'd say "Commuting from Brighton to London every day is exhausting". (I should know, I used to do it!)
