PUT INTO
4. to choose someone for a job or position, especially an important one
John had been put into a job that in fact he was born to do
(MED)

1)
If we omit in fact, will that be omited too?
John had been put into a job he was born to do.
or

John had been put into a job that he was born to do
.

2) Can I replace to do by for:
John had been put into a job that in fact he was born for.

Thank you.
