Is a Joyrider someone who steals a car just for having a good time?

Yes. Most traditional car thieves steal the car for personal gain (perhaps they'll sell it to someone else who will strip it and sell the parts). A joyrider steals a car just for the thrill of driving someone else's car, and then usually leaves it intact once he's done.
