I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

Just a day before her wedding, Maria decided to cancel it. Her inner voice told her that the man she were supposed to marry was not the right one.

It's the man she was supposed to marry. I'd use about to though.

Would my second sentence be OK like this?

Her inner voice told her that the man she was about to marry was not the right one.

I might end with "Her inner voice told her that her fiancé was not the right man for her".

You can use the phrase call off a wedding, instead of cancel.
