Hi all,

Situation: You just worked at the new company. When you found that the job scope is not as expected, you decided to move to another department which is more suitable for your expertise. Write a justification / memo why you want to move. The company also wants reasons how to improve their department.

REASONS

  • Work environment

- Prefer technical work environment where we can have a deep discussion on technical, not just from their surface
- It is because my background is in network security (technical, not paperwork)

  • PC with low spec

Prefer notebook whereby I can take my job wherever I want to go
Having a notebook around will help you become more productive
Computer security is a process. It’s not just about a technology. I have to improve my self from time to time

  • No internet access

It’s hard to do a work without an Internet access

  • Job scope

Job scope doesn’t pertained to my experience

What else guys, lack of ideas. Anyway, thanks for help

Hi all, Situation: You have just started working at the new company. When you find that the job scope is not as expected, you decided to ask for amove to another department which is more suitable for your expertise. Write a justification / memo why you want to move. The company also wants suggestions on how to improve their department. REASONS
  • Work environment
- I prefer a technical work environment where everyone can have a deep discussion on technical matters.
- My background is in the technical aspects of network security and not in paperwork

My instinct is that it is better not to put these points as relating solely to you.

Point one: The environment is one of maintenance rather than applied technical expertise. There is little discussion of technical matters which means that advances are not achieved.

Point two: The job specification did not indicate the volume of paperwork that is required and for which I am not trained. My expertise is in the technical aspects of network security and their development.

  • PC with low spec
The PC provided is not of good enough specification to do the work required.
A Notebook [allows me to work on projects wherever I am and therefore] will help me become more productive
Computer security is a process. It’s not just about a technology. I have to improve myself from time to time

  • No internet access
It’s hard to do the job/work without Internet access

  • Job scope
Job scope doesn’t match my experience

What else guys, lack of ideas. Anyway, thanks for help

What would be your suggestion for improving the department?
