"Thank you for register with us. Here is your registered details."

vs

"Thank you for registering with us. Here is your registered details.
"

Why we need to use "registering" instead of "register"?

Additional questions,
if some one said this sentences to me,

"Always double check your work especially in email with the public or screen display- don't make careless and embarrassing mistakes "

Can I reply with "Thank you for your comments. The mistake will be amended."

Thank you for your help.

"Thank you for registering with us. Here is your registered details."

Note: It should be "Here ARE your registered details".

Why do we need to use "registering" instead of "register"?

After "thank you for" we use the -ing ending. Another way of saying this would be "Thank you for having registered with us". There are many examples of the -ing after a preposition.

if some one said this sentences to me,

"Always double check your work especially in email with the public or screen display- don't make careless and embarrassing mistakes "

Can I reply with "Thank you for your comments. The mistake will be amended."

You can, but as the person is giving you advice that will be helpful in the future, you might want to say "Thank you for your comments. I will be more careful in future." I don't think that you are referring to a specific mistake in your reply so "the mistake will be amended" is not appropriate.

Thank you for your help.

Comments above.

If you're going to change "we" to "he/someone's name" then you need to change "do" to "does" (3rd person singular).

Why does he need to use......?
