While I'm doing my writing, I became confused when I didn't the correct one,
- to know somebody, or
- to get to know somebody/ me, or
- to get know somebody.
Does "To know" concerned with the same person who's speaking, and "To get to know" concerns with other?
I just want to know what is the difference between them, and when can I use each one of them?

Hi there...

To know someone would be the fact that you know that for a given period of time and to get to know someone is when you are trying to know facts about someone who is still 'unknown' to you. Does that help you?
