Few people know/know about ABC religion.

Should it be "know"or "know Buddhism about"?

It should be know about Buddhism, though it might be more accurate to say something like many people don't know much about Buddhism as there are millions and millions of Buddhists who do know a lot about it, and those who aren't familiar with it may know a bit about it.
