I'm practising sentence structuring. I do not know if the below sentence is grammatically correct.
Although I started the sentence with 'Known', it sounds right but is it correct?
"Known" is the past participle of 'know', if my sentence is correct, how come it can be used alone?

--- Known for her artistic talents, Megan is often invited to perform at various special events.

Thank you. :-D
