I would like you to tell me if you see a difference concerning meaning between these two sentences:

Imagen that the most spoken language in the world is yours.

Imagen that the most spoken language in the world is your own one.

Hi,
I believe you mean Imagine

It's not easy but I think this way:
1 means:
My native language is German.
The most spoken language is English, though.
So now I imagine how it would be if my native language was English.
My decision: "Too bad that it's German, it would better if my native language was English".

2 means:
My native language (my own one) becomes the most spoken language.
I can stay with German because everyone else has to learn it now.

But as said: Not very easy ;-)

With "imagine" not "imagen" the first is idiomatic, the second is not.

Of course is "imagine" - it was just a lapse in concentration - .

Sorry, but I don't understand the meaning of "idiomatic" - Phrase figée?-.

I am going to write the whole paragraph, I think it can be of help:

"But imagine that the most spoken language in the world is yours. Why should you learn any other language if everyone understands you?"

"But imagine that the most spoken language in the world is your own one. Why should you learn any other language if everyone understands you?"

From your point of view are they similar in meaning? Are they correct?

They both mean the same, it's just that native speakers would say the first one and wouldn't say the second.
