Which of these languages do you think will be useful in the future?

I choose 'Mandarin' (Chinese) because China has improved and developed rapidly. Moreover, many people say that China would be the King in year 2010. <- (I've heard it many times)
Even USA could loose from them.

Ask me after the Olympic Games this summer! No offense, but I don't see the day that Chinese will replace English as the language of choice in Europe, North America, South America, Australia, Africa, or Antarctica!

Yeah, China has a big population, that's way they developed very fast.

I think English language will still be the 'International Language'

It could be Japanese and Chinese. But we can't predict the future.

I've chosen Chinese.
Mainly if you wanna work with international business.
English is already the most useful language, but I believe that in the next years Chinese will be a very important language.
I live in a port city and over here, if you wanna a great job, it's good that you know Chinese. China is our major client and people that works in the Port also say that Chineses don't like to make business speaking in English.

That's my opinion. English always will be the most useful language in general, but in the world business, I bet in Chinese.

That is, if they are the only international business partners there is. Well, if you'd be dealing with other nationalities who doesn't speak Chinese (and there are a whole lot of them), then Chinese is no longer necessary. English would be the only language you could use.

Chinese only becomes popular because of their own population. But compared to the number of countries and nationalities, English is still second to none.

The Olympics will be in Beijing this summer! It should be a unique experience for the Chinese to host such an international event!
