This means you're going to mention something in the last position of an enumeration, but this is not because it is the least important item on the list.
You use this expression just before mentionning that last item.

Yes, that's it. I agree with your answer. Something or someone can be spoken of or given attention last, but that would not make it the least important. To clarify this we can say "last but not least".

I am sorry to say that I just got what X-Mode said.

What I got is:

Yes, I am mentioned at the last, but I am as important as all of you who were mentioned before me. Remember, last is not least! :p
