Jomo, I learned how to play the piano about ten years ago but that was only to a beginner's standard! I've played since but not practised...which brings me to my answer to your third question...the more you practise, the better you become.

If you can devote at least four solid hours a day to practising the instrument, and you have the inherent gift for learning AND you have a firm belief that you will be th best pianist in the business, then you may be a professional...in three, four, five years!

Well, the lesson will be started at tomorrow. I'm going to have a tuition with a professional teacher once in a week. And I would practice a lot as much as I could.

I've a mind that thought I could learn it in just a short time. But it needs a hardwork to achieve it.

Do you think it's too late for me to learn piano?

Depends a lot on how you are. But we have a saying: 'its never too late'. Mind you, we also have a saying: 'You can't teach old dogs new tricks'.!

Well, jomo isn't an old dog yet, he's an old man:lol:. I think jomo is just 17, right? You're still young... If you devote much time to it, no doubt you could be a professional in no time.

I just finished the lesson with my teacher and it was my first time. I feel very excited and curious about it.

Yeah. I'm still 16 and turning to 17 this October.

Thanks for motivating me. :)

There is a say that "Practice makes Perfect" right?
