leave out "article"/"my"

[the kitchen=my kitchen, the bathroom room=my bathroom]

I wonder if it is correct to leave out "the" in bold, i.e. "I'm going to clean the kitchen and bathroom tomorrow."

My child's English teacher deemed "The house has a kitchen and bathroom." is wrong. The teacher inserted "a" before "bathroom" in my child's composition. Is the teacher wrong? [Please note that when I press the "Return" key on my keyboard, I cannot jump to another lines.]

"The house has a kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom." I think this is probably more common, but the other one is used and is perfectly correct.
