One night I was watching boxing match on TV and there were disadvantages and advantages of the boxers listed below.
One disadvantage was that he loads up. I understand that this might mean that he receives too many punches too easily.
With conditioning I understand that he may be boxing in a windmill style or as a slugger.

I can't find this term anywhere.

Could mean that he "bulks up" in weight before the fight, or he is able to take a lot of punches, or that he can give many punches at one time.

For other terms see Boxing Terminology - Glossary of Boxing Terms

Let us know if you find it

From Wikipedia:

"Brawlers or sluggers"
They may also have a tendency to load up on their punches more (to pull back the arm before throwing the punch so as to have a greater distance to gather momentum over before the punch's impact)

What do you mean about "conditioning" - can you expand the reference?

Sorry Anglika but I can't.
That list just appeared on screen and "conditioning"was either in disadvantages or advantages. If I had listened to what commentator had said at that moment I guess I would be now much wiser but that list took my whole focus.
I'm pretty sure though that conditioning in boxing doesn't have anything to do with psychology.

I think it was Susie who gave you a link.

I suspect that "conditioning" probably means training him to box in a different style or with a different technique.

That could be true because that boxer was famous for changing his boxing from orthodox style to southpaw style(left handed).
