Try searching online under the three terms ESL, EFL, and TESOL.

ESL = English as a Second Language
EFL = English as a Foreign Language
TESOL = Teaching English as a Second or Other Language.

There are many different problems anda lot depends on various factors, especially the learner's language and educational background. ;-)
