The Beatles - I Will
Who knows how long I've loved you
You know I love you still
Will I wait a lonely lifetime
If you want me to - I will.
For if I ever saw you
I didn't catch your name
But it never really mattered
I will always feel the same.
Love you forever and forever
Love you with all my heart
Love you whenever we're together
Love you when we're apart.
And when at last I find you
Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you
For the things you do endear you to me
Ah you know I will
I will...

You can start with songs that are very simple, like "Can't Buy Me Love," and learn more complex songs as you learn more English. For example, "Blackbird" and "Back in the USSR" don't make sense unless you know American culture very well.
I think this is also true of many famous musicians from the 1960s. Bob Dylan is a good example: A beginning English student could understand his song "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," which is a very famous and very beautiful song. His song "Subterranean Homesick Blues" is also very famous, but it is so fast and full of words that even native English speakers sometimes have trouble understanding it. (In fact, I think if someone can understand that whole song then they should stop studying English, because there can't be anything left for them to learn.)
