We sent you a cheque ($100) to pay for your taxi fares to attend the medical appointment. If you decide to ask a friend to drive you there, we have calculated the mileage and we need only to pay you $50 to pay for the gas. In this instance, you will have to return $50 to us and we would prefer that you mail a cheque to us in / for that amount.
