Hi! What is the exact meaning of the words in bold?
Maximum indication ofcooperation we received from majors was that they would try to find a basis forhelping AIOC dispose of oil or products for whichit could not itself find market if that were necessary to working out of properdeal.

The text was written by someone with a poor command of written English. "Majors" could mean "major companies", "major organizations", or a company or institution named "Majors".

"Working out [STRIKE]of[/STRIKE] a proper deal" means "negotiating a formal agreement".
