I really enjoy spening time playing with the little girl. She also like it when I tell her some bedtime stories while I was giving her beautiful hair a gentle stroke, making her sleepy.

Is "making her sleepy" the same as "which makes her sleepy"?

Yes, but there are several problems with your sentence.

May I ask what the difference is between the following and original post?

I really enjoy spending time playing with the little girl. She also likes it when I tell her some bedtime stories, while I am giving her beautiful hair a gentle stroke and making her sleepy.
