Hi I have just sent my personal statement which begins with the expression "Making the difference" (Making the difference, everyday: this is what I am looking for, and is truly what a career in medicine is all about for me.")
However, apparently you can also say "making a difference" (which from what I have seen on some websites is the most frequent way).
I am already desperate... I bet I have written the wrong one on my personal statement and the admission tutors will bin it straight away!!!

Making the difference IS ENGLISH. 8)
