I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct. I believe my second sentence is not good, but I was unable to correct it myself.

Many poultry producers inject chicken meat with salt water, which they justify by claiming it makes meat tastier. But consumers are not convinced in the true aim of this method and believe this is the way of cheating, because they are actually paying for a large amount of water instead of meat.
