I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

Maria has lived in a tower block for years without any problems, but since the terrible fire in a London's tower block, every time she goes to bed, she fears the similar tragedy could happen to her too.

The repetition of "(London) tower block" is a little messy. How about a shorter version?

Since the terrible fire in another London tower block, Maria is now nervous when she goes to bed in the high-rise where she has lived for many years.
