I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct. Is it correct to say "cut her free out of"?

Maria took the bend too fast, swerved and rammed into the rock. It took firefighters two hours to cut her free out of her smashed Audi.

No. '... to cut her out of' or '... to cut her free from'.

The Audi would have to have been very badly smashed indeed for an extrication to take two hours. When I was on the rescue squad, it never took more than a few minutes.
