I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

Martin and Beatrix had been preparing their wedding for months when he announced he did not love her anymore.

I think AmE prefers anymore for the adverb related to time.

We don't do that anymore.

He doesn't drink any more now than he ever has.
