How would you discribe the difference between "may" and "might" in these sentences?
One fine day we might know more about it.
One fine day we may know more about it.

To me, they mean the same in AusE.

The difference is being eroded in a number of variants. I still see the difference in BrE, but I think many younger speakers see them as much the same.
