Hello,
We all know "me too".
He: I really like this move.
I: Me too.

Why isn't it just:
I too.
:?:

To me it sounds a bit like:
He really likes this movie and me too.
(If you don't say, "I too".)

Is this a typical I/me confusion?
Like:
He loves you more than I. -> I don't love you as much as he does.
He loves you more than me. -> He doesn't love me as much he loves you.
(I know it has nothing to do with "me too" but with I/me ;-))

Cheers!

Hi, Nightmare.

There have been numerous threads about this issue (,which as an old member you may remember very well) , and I thought that it came to an agreement between the members.

As for your examples.

He: I really like this move.
I: I( like it) too.

Yes, it should be "I" but it's a good chance that you'll hear the most native-speakers using "me"

He really likes this movie and, me too.

Without the comma he likes the movie and he likes you as well. :)

With the comma, you should say "I (like it), too.

He loves you more than I (do). As you see it's short for I do, so it should be "I".

Thank you for your answer, euncu.
I'm sorry for the late reply, but I was on vacation and I did not know what to respond anyway.

Some days ago I thought about this topic again.
What do you think about this explanation?
Person 1: He likes me.
Person 2: He likes me(,) too. -> Me(,) too.

Person 1: I like him.
Person 2: I like him(,) too. -> I(,) too.

I think this is a clear example, so I cannot understand why so many humans insist on "me" :-?

Cheers!
