Hi,

1- Over 1,000 people are now known to have died in the factory building collapse last month in Dhaka. (It is OK)

2- Over 1,000 people are known to have died in the factory building collapse last month in Dhaka now.

I would like to ask what if the adverb 'now' were put at the end of the sentence? Is the
meaning unity lost?

Thanks.

As an NES but not a teacher:

"Now" belongs with "known" in this sentence (#1).
For me, putting it at the end disassociates it from "known" and just doesn't work in this context.

It also sets up a contradiction between "last month" and "now," which both are seemingly modifying the same "building collapse."
