What is the right term to use in this case, please?

"Please, have a look at these cards several times for several minutes so that your memory can record, register, photograph these new terms".

Record or register would be OK, or "....so that you can remember these new terms".

How about this: "Please, have a look at these cards[STRIKE] several times [/STRIKE]for several minutes so that you[STRIKE]r [/STRIKE][STRIKE]memory[/STRIKE] can [STRIKE]record, register, photograph [/STRIKE] memorize these new terms".
