Which is better in these sentences, "mindset" or "mentality"?

1 Trying to change the mindset/mentality of Filipinos makes no sense. They want to stay the way they are.

2 His eurocentric mindset/mentality prevents him from integrating well into the Philippine society.

Could I also use "world view" or "way of looking at things"?

I like "mindset" better than "mentality" in both sentences.

"World view" would work in the second, as it already uses a geographical term. "Way of looking at things" is possible but you'd have to rephrase the sentences and you'd end up with a lot more words.

Note my correction above.

I prefer "mindset" in the first sentence and "mentality" in the second. But both are correct.
