Hi,
are these senteences ok?

1) I did a mistake
2) I made a mistake

3)... a bad mistake
4)....a gross mistake
5)....a small mistake
6) ...a little mistake
7)....a big mistake

Can I also use the word "error" in 3,4,5,6,7?
Thanks. Rip

you cant use do or did with mistake. But you can only use make or made for present and past. little is used for non countable things.however, mistakes are countable so you must use the word (few) instead of (little).

All your adjectives are fine in this context, and yes, you can use "error".

You have made a little mistake by arguing the point.
The child made a little mistake during his lesson.

The rider made many little mistakes during his test.
There were lots of little mistakes in the essay.

It is a perfectly acceptable phrase.

And no, you cannot use "do" a mistake.
