Monolingual or bilingual dictionary?

I have been presented with an oxford learner's dictionary in pocket edition (I have it in front of me right now):shock: . I find it handy (pocket) and usefull...it is as if you are leaving your mother tongue for a while, whereas you are listening or reading in English, aren't you?:cool:
Englishlanguage...I'm from Italy too...

That's one of the greatest advantages of monolingual dictionaries!
