Are both word orders possible in English? Do both word orders sound natural?
I felt sick by the motion of the ship.
By the motion of the ship I felt sick.

1. I felt sick [STRIKE]by[/STRIKE] from the motion of the ship.
​2. By the motion of the ship I felt sick.

Sentence #1 is OK with the correct preposition. Sentence 2 is unnatural. I'd probably say "The motion of the ship made/was making me feel sick".
