Mr Ms

I am writing a collaboration letter to an instituition and I would like to know if I should add Mr or Ms for my student's name everytime I mention on it in the letter. If I mention the same name more than once, should I put the first or the family name?

Welcome to the forums.

My inclination would be to give the full name in the first reference: "Mr. John Bloggs", and in subsequent references use "Mr Bloggs".
