Can you tell me what does "she doesn't let dust settle under her feet" means?

hi,

let the dust settle is an idiom and it means wait for a situation to become clear or certain.

e.g.

Let's not make any decision now. We will let the dust settle and then decide what to do.

However, in the sentence originally given, it means she does not hang around - she gets on with things.
