Hi there,
I have a question concerning the expression "without further ado/adieu" I do not know which word is correct and why.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Welcome to the forums.

"Without further ado" = without further fuss

"Ado" is a northern English dialect word that has survived in common usage in this idiom.
