topic: my favorite sport
I really love going outside and playing outdoor games. Out of the many sports that I have played in high school, I like playing basketball the most. The reason is because it is challenging and it needs a lot of teamwork to win a game.
It is not easy to be able to dribble a basketball. It takes many days of practice. I have a good aim and I like to be the person to throw the ball into the hoop. I find that playing a basketball game is very challenging because it is not easy to dribble the ball pass my opponents and getting the ball through the hoop. In my last basketball game, it took more then thirty minutes to score a point. In addition, it takes a lot of teamwork.
Teamwork is very important in a basketball game because it is very difficult to win alone. When playing basketball, I have to pay a lot of attention on what my teammates are doing because they could suddenly pass the ball to me. Two months ago when I was playing basketball with a couple of friends, one of my teammate threw the ball to me and I did not notice it, and tripped over the ball. Thus good communication skills are mandatory.
Basketball is my favorite sport. I would like to play it more often; however most of my friends are always busy. In addition the weather is also a problem because I hate playing in the rain, and I am afraid of getting a suntan.
