My friend told me, there is a who can get him get a government job but he wants some money for that.

That person wants money in lieu of the job he is going to help my friend to get.

Please check my sentences.

And he doesn't want money in lieu of the job. He wants to be paid for getting him the job.

You checked your sentence, did you?

My friend told me, there is a person who can help him get a government job but he wants some money for that.

That person wants to be paid (can we also use money here?) for getting him the job.

Please check my sentences.

No sorry, actually as soon as I posted the question the electricity went off. I read it once after I have posted it.

My friend told me (no comma) there is a person who can help him get a government job but he wants some money for that.

That person wants to be paid (can we also use money here?) for getting him the job.
They're both OK with the little correction I made. You can say the person wants to be paid money, but it adds a word without adding any meaning to the sentence.

My desktop used to run on an internal battery in a power cut but it's a good point about the router!

OK. I think you're getting better. I think your hard work is paying off.
