my or our

If I am a student of the school, I wonder if "our" or "my" both correct in the following sentences?

1. The annual school sports day is celebrated in our school with great preparations.
2. The annual school sports day is celebrated in my school with great preparations.

You can use either "my" or "our". However, the rest of the sentence is a little odd. We don't tend to celebrate things with "great preparations". There is a lot of preparation required in advance of a celebration.
