As we all know that the holy Bible contains sixty six books. As a result, don’t is used instead of doesn’t. I think I am close, but no cigar?

What you cite here is simply someone using incorrect English. He means "the Bible doesn't say anything about..."

He was thinking that, since the Bible is a collection of books, it took the plural verb.
