Hi,For England, St. George's Day also marks its National Day. Most countries who observe St. George's Day, celebrate it on April 23, the traditionally accepted date of Saint George's death in 303 AD. St. George's Day is a provincial government holiday in Newfoundland, Canada.
I learned the National Day of the UK is the Queen's birthday, which is on April 21.
Why does the paragraph said " St. George's Day" is England's National Day?
I quoted the paragraph above is from Wikipedia. Thanks.
