[Vocabulary] National parks

Hi,

A simple thing to say, but neither dictionaries nor uncle Google want to help me. I want to say that on the territory of a particular state, you can find five National Parks, but I want to make the state or the state's territory the subject of the sentence, something like here:

The state's territory covers / includes / ??? five national parks.​

I somehow cannot find the appropriate verb. Please help!

Do you really need to say that?
Try "The state has five national parks."

Another option (as well as contains and has) is boasts.

In tourist guides, you'll see "The state boasts five national parks".
