need explanation of "Nice going"

Lester's briefcase suddenly springs open and his papers spill all over the driveway. He drops to his knees to gather everything.

Lester smiles sheepishly, trying to lighten the moment.

Tone of voice would be an indicator here as well that it is sarcastic.


Nice going - It really is not nice. Say the opposite to indicate what you mean. - Definitely sarcasm. :p
