I am not a professional teacher. It is of course like doing the homework for mara. Subsequently, I found that he had attempted to do the excercise himself and made a mess of it. So I volunteered to do his home work as under. The corrections where ever done are underlined.

Buying a house nowadays is becoming (I would have said: is getting, confusing) more and more expensive all the time.
What you should have done is call the police, not get involved yourselves.

II Correct the sentences:
Tomorrow is Sunday, so we needn’t go to school.
Only then did she recognize him.
These exercises are easy enough for us.
Nor the boys nor their sister know where the dog is.
My father came to my school yesterday to talk to the headmaster.

III Complete the sentences with one word only:
John no longer lives in this house.
There is no exception to the rule.

 I believe Mara is a female name.

Mara, the issue is that you must give your own try at least. To post homework without your own intent is not only rude but also useless for you as you do not learn this way.

AS you tried, I have given it a shot.

Please, post your work with your own solutions.
