Person A: "Are you the one responsible for all the murders?"
Person B: "I am and many more victims will soon follow."

Do I need a comma after "I am" or just leave it the way it is?

Do I need a comma after "I am" or just leave it the way it is?

A pause after 'I am' makes sense, so a comma is appropriate.
